I’m being told by the local pastors, government officials and the local people here that this was a historic crusade for this entire region and for this city. In fact, they said a crusade on this scale has NEVER been conducted here and the last time they had a city wide Christian gathering of any kind in this region was over 22 years ago with only a couple thousand in attendance. But tonight, the field was packed to capacity and thousands of people lined the adjacent streets and gathered on nearby rooftops and the tops of nearby busses to watch and listen. (Read more here.)
Miracles started tonight before the meeting even began. Last night, it began raining on the crusade field. Then today, just hours before the crusade started, it began to rain again causing the ground to become muddy and soaking wet. We asked our prayer partners to begin praying and also our team here was praying, along with us, for the rain to stop. Suddenly, all the rain stopped just a few hours before the festival began! Our team here was able to remove the mud from the field and place large, dry rugs on the dirt field for people to sit comfortably on. Praise God! Whenever it rains like this, our biggest concern is that attendance would be down due to the rain, but when we arrived, the field was packed full of hungry people! (Read more here.)
This crusade was truly a ‘miracle crusade’. I just found out that it was a miracle because a local government leader who is not a Christian and is from a radical religious belief system, tried to stop the crusade from happening and was almost successful. He was the final person that we needed permission from in the government here to do the crusade. He asked my director, “what is going to happen at this meeting”? “Are people going to be healed and get out of wheel chairs”? My director said, “yes they are in Jesus’ name”. Then he proceeded to tell my director that he “wouldn’t allow us to do the crusade because he didn’t want people to get healed and turn to Jesus”. Wow! I feel like I’m living in the Bible. The religious people said the same thing to Jesus and his disciples. (Read more here.)
Tonight was the main night of our crusade near the Middle East and what an amazing night we had. When I took to the stage tonight, demoniacs started manifesting even before I started preaching and it was then that I knew the message I had been preparing to preach was the right message — “The Blood of Jesus”. For several days, I had felt that I should preach on the blood of Jesus tonight and specifically that the blood of Jesus has the power to: cleanse us, heal us, protect us and purchase us. When I made the alter call for salvation, I was very diligent to tell those who were already Christian that they didn’t need to receive salvation again and I asked for only those who had never received Christ before to stand, since everyone was sitting. When I made the call for those to stand who had never received Christ, what we saw was unbelievable. Thousands stood to their feet, actually from stage it looked like 70-80% of the crowd stood to their feet to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior for the very first time. Hallelujah!!! We just arrived in Dubai on our way home from an absolutely amazing gospel campaign near the Middle East and I wanted to share this update from our campaign with you. On this trip, I spoke two nights in two different locations and tens of thousands came to Christ! The first service I had the honor of ministering at a weekly Wednesday night service that my friend conducts every week and thousands came to Christ. Saturday night was our main Gospel Campaign service and the city we were in was an outreach city — meaning they have never had a major gospel campaign there before and this city was in desperate need of the gospel. What an amazing campaign we’ve had near the Middle East! There are so many things I want to tell you by email and on the internet that I’m not able to for security reasons, but what I can tell you is that the Holy Spirit has moved in great power and a great wave of salvation is sweeping across this country! On Saturday night, we conducted our largest gospel campaign ever, with just over 200,000 people in attendance. Hallelujah! Sunday morning, I preached the gospel at my friends church here, which has over 25,000 members and is the largest church in this country. It was promoted as an outreach for their church and as a result, several thousands of people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior for the very first time at church on Sunday morning! Praise God! (Read more here.)
I just returned from our final crusade of the year which was in the most remote location we’ve ever done a crusade before — a jungle in northern Ind!a! In fact it’s not just any jungle, this jungle has been known to house a local militant group who have kidnapped and killed many people as they try to overthrow the government. It’s such a dangerous place, that the local army has set up a base in this village to conduct counter terrorism efforts against the militia group for the past few years. (Read more here.)
Tonight was the second night of our Gospel campaign here in this undisclosed and restricted nation where God is moving in great power. Tonight the crowd grew significantly and we had to make more room on the field for people to sit and stand and we anticipate it will only grow more tomorrow and the final night on Sunday night. I preached another crystal clear Gospel message on ‘Redemption in Christ Alone’ and the altar was full again tonight with people from other religions coming to Christ along with many prodigal Christians who also responded to the message. Many also received healing in their physical bodies when we prayed for the sick. (Read more here.)
One of the local officials who attended the meeting told us that he estimated that there were over 140,000 people in attendance last night. I’m not sure if it was that much, but I can tell you one thing, it was a LOT of people! Next to our field was a large Mosque and the local Imam attended our meeting and said he was very was blessed by the meeting and my message. The crowd was also full of non-believers, most of whom had never heard the Gospel before – until now. (Read more here.)
Tonight, when I made the altar call for salvation, everyone was sitting down. I told the people, “If you have NEVER received Jesus Christ before and you want to receive Him tonight, I want you to stand”. To my amazement, over 70% of the crowd stood to their feet. Hallelujah! In fact, I was so shocked, I told the people again to sit down if they’ve received Jesus Christ at a previous time and still, they all stood there looking at me, knowing they where making this decision for the very first time! Praise the Lord! It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. (Read more here.)
Tonight’s message was a crystal clear Gospel message, challenging the people to turn from all other god’s and turn only to Jesus for salvation and redemption. When I made the altar call for salvation, the response was overwhelming. Our ushers had to remove several rows of chairs at the front of the crowd just to make room for all the people who came forward to receive Jesus. After the prayer for salvation, I prayed for the sick and all of heaven broke loose. Demons started manifesting and healings were taking place all over in the tent. In fact, it took me one hour just to interview all the people who had experienced a genuine healing tonight. (Read more here.)
One of the local pastors told us today that this region is actually more unreached than we previously suspected because we’re in such an extremely remote part of this country. He said this area is about 0.7% Christian and there has never been a public Gospel meeting in this area. Tonight at the crusade, the president of the city (who gave us the permits for the crusade grounds) attended the crusade and thanked us for coming. Although he’s not a Christian, he said he really respects Jesus and is happy we could come tell stories about Jesus Christ and his great love for the world. (Read more here.)
Over two nights, we had over ninety people come forward to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and with eighty six documented decisions for Christ. On Sunday morning our team and some local volunteers sorted through the decision cards and mailed them to the participating churches for follow up and discipleship of the new believers. As evangelists, we make it a PRIORITY to ensure that every new believer is contacted by the local church for discipleship and is invited to their Sunday morning service. We want to make disciples, not just converts. (Read more here.)
It is with great joy that I write this update today. I just returned from the nation of Pakistan where we conducted our second major Gospel Crusade of the year and 28,121 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Hallelujah! Jesus is saving souls in Pakistan! It was absolutely amazing to see so many people come forward for salvation. From the very first night, the majority of the crowd responded to the Gospel. Each night after that, the crowd grew significantly and thousands responded each night to make Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior. It was absolutely amazing! (Read more here.)
Today was the last day concluding our time here in South Asia. We had an amazing crusade this week despite some opposition. Hundreds of people came to Christ this week, many were healed in their physical bodies and many people were delivered from demonic spirits. There is great joy in this region! Today we planted the first church (Assembly of God) in this region and nearly one hundred new believers attended the first service. We introduced them to their new pastor and encouraged them in their new walk with Jesus. It’s absolutely amazing to see a church start from raw evangelism in the most unreached places on earth. I’m sure there is great joy in heaven today! (Read more here.)
I am so happy to report that over 18,000 people attended the four-day Gospel crusade last week in South Asia and 5,075 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! I heard reports from the local churches that they are overflowing with new believers who received salvation at the crusade. One church of 150 people had 50 new believers show up to their church last Sunday (see picture below). The church was actually too small for all the people, so the men sat outside the front door, listening through the window and open door, while the women sat inside for the service! (Read more here.)
In all, we saw over 200 people make first time decisions for Christ and hundreds of people heard the Gospel for the very first time! The crusade concluded on Saturday night and on Sunday we planted the very first church in the region close to the crusade grounds. Over 100 new believers showed up on Sunday morning and are starting this new journey of following Jesus. It was one of the most beautiful things to witness. (Read more here.)
Last night was the final night of our Gospel Crusade here in South Asia and thousands were in attendance! The forecast was showing a 90% chance of rain all day but the Lord held the rain back so the service could continue and the Gospel could be preached. It rained hard towards the end of service, but the gospel was able to go forward. At the end of the service, I prayed for the people to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and many people were filled with the Holy Spirit. I also prayed for the sick and many were healed and many demons were cast out. (Read more here.)
After the fourth and final night night we had collected 3,050 decision cards for Christ! Praise God! The local churches are now using those decision cards, which contain the contact information for each new believer, to follow up with them and make sure they get Bibles and become true disciples of Christ! (Read more here.)
Over the course of the weekend, we saw 34 people respond to the Gospel and miracles happen by the dozens. God was healing ankles, backs, shoulders, hearts, ears and so much more. In fact, every day since the event I’ve heard testimonies from people that were healed from both nights that never made it to the altar to testify, reporting that they had experienced a powerful miracle of healing in their body! (Read more here.)
We just returned from Tura, which is a small city in the mountains of Asia. In this small city of Tura, I was invited to preach a Gospel Crusade where the population is only 55,000 people and on the final night of the crusade, we saw over 20,000 people attend and we recorded close to 4,500 decisions for Christ over four days!
